Purchase Ledger Clerk Coventry | Permanent - Full Time Up to £30,000 We're working with a well-established business in Coventry that's looking to add an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to its finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the day-to-day ownership of the purchase ledger function and takes pride in keeping things accurate, organised, and running smoothly. You'll be joining a friendly, supportive team where your contribution will have a real impact. What you'll be doing: • Processing supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner • Matching, coding and posting invoices • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies • Handling supplier queries and building positive working relationships • Preparing payment runs • Processing credit notes and expenses • Supporting the wider finance team with month-end activities • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all transactions are up to date What we're looking for: • Previous experience within a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable role is essential • Comfortable working with high volumes of invoices • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach • Good communication skills and confidence dealing with suppliers • Competent using finance systems and Excel • Someone who can work independently while being a team player What's on offer: • Salary up to £30,000 • Permanent, full-time role • Range of benefits including retail and shopping discounts, life assurance to employee awards, where this business recognises hard work! • Opportunity to develop your skills within an established finance team • Convenient Coventry location If you're an experienced Purchase Ledger professional looking for a new challenge in a stable and growing business, we'd love to hear from you.
