Are you a committed Qualified Social Worker? Do you have a passion for providing first-class support to Children's Services? We have a fantastic Locum Social Work Opportunity based within a Duty and Assessment Team in the Bury area. You will be working alongside a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to providing an effective, child-centred service to children in need of support and protection. Benefits: • 1 x post 30 hours per week/1 x post 18.5 hours per week • Hybrid Working- 3 days in office • A dedicated consultant - one point of contact • Ongoing CPD/Training via our e-learning online portal • Weekly payroll • Weekly mailers keeping you up to date with locum posts within your locality • Up to £300 for referring a friend or colleague (T&Cs apply) Responsibilities: • Responding to new referrals from professionals and members of the public • Signposting people to other agencies or completing an assessment of need, investigating allegations so that children/young people are protected from harm • Managing a varied and complex caseload • Undertaking Court Work • Writing concise, fit-for-purpose reports/court statements • Working well within a team and with external agencies To be considered for the Social Worker ideally you will have: • Experience of working in a Children's Duty and Assessment team (desirable) • SWE registration • BSc Social Work or equivalent To avoid missing out on this fantastic opportunity please apply today, or for more information call Lynne Thomson on .
