Reach Truck DriverLocation: Darlington Job Type: Temporary (Ongoing) Pay Rate:£14.58 per hour Hours: Approximately 35 hours per week The RoleBerry Recruitment are currently recruiting for experienced Reach Truck Drivers to join a busy logistics and distribution warehouse in Darlington. We are initially looking to recruit 2 candidates, with the potential for this to increase to 4 positions. Applications are welcomed from both: • Drivers who hold a current Reach Truck licence. • Experienced Reach Truck Drivers whose licence has expired. A one-day refresher assessment and training course will be provided for all new starters to assess operating standards before commencing work. Working HoursYou will work approximately 35 hours per week on a 5 days over 7 rota, working one weekend on and one weekend off. We have the following shifts available: Morning Shift • 5:00am - approximately 12:00pm (finish time may vary depending on workload) Afternoon Shift • 12:00pm - approximately 7:00pm (finish time may vary depending on workload) Key Responsibilities • Safely operate a Reach Truck to move stock throughout the warehouse. • Load, unload and transport goods efficiently. • Pick, replenish and relocate stock as required. • Carry out daily equipment safety checks. • Maintain a clean and safe working environment. • Adhere to all health and safety procedures. • Support the wider warehouse operation when required. What We're Looking For • Previous Reach Truck driving experience is essential. • A current Reach Truck licence is preferred; however, candidates with an expired licence are encouraged to apply. • Good understanding of warehouse health and safety. • Reliable, punctual and committed to delivering high standards. • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. • Flexibility to work a 5 over 7 shift pattern, including alternate weekends.
