Recycling Operative

Recycling and Sorting Operative Taskmaster Recruitment are looking for a Recycling and Sorting Operative to work for our client based at their site in Warboys, Huntingdon. Duties will include: • Sorting household and commercial waste from a pick line into plastic, wood, brick, metals. • Use machinery to feed recycling waste for processing. • Inspect materials for any contaminations. • Clean and maintain equipment. • Meet the requirements of audits and cleaning specifications. • Ensure the correct protective equipment is correctly worn at all times. • Ensure work is carried out to the highest standards of health and safety. Desirable skills and attributes: • Being physically fit for this role is essential. • Able to use own initiative. • Must be able to work with noise and dust. • Organised and able to manage their own time effectively. • Follow health and safety rules. • Works harmoniously with others to get the job done. Temporary to permanent job for the right candidate. Shift: Monday to Friday: 07.00 – 17.30 plus overtime is available at an increased rate of pay.
