Registered Veterinary Nurse The Hyperthyroid Cat Centre, Wetherby, Yorkshire (Part of the VetPartners Family) Would you like to give up those late evenings and early mornings shifts? Are you looking for a working day of 9 to 5 with weekends on a rota basis and days off in lieu? How about the satisfaction of helping cure 99% of cases and making lots of cat owners very happy? We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly, cat loving team. You would be joining one of the largest referral centres treating Hyperthyroid cats with Radioiodine within Europe. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly motivated, client-focused, cat-only referral practice near Wetherby, West Yorkshire. The Hyperthyroid Cat Centre deals solely with hyperthyroid cats requiring radioiodine treatment. You would be joining a social and friendly hard-working team of vets, nurses, client and animal care assistants and a practice manager. The practice is in Thorp Arch, near the popular market town of Wetherby with many treasures to explore including panoramic scenery, riverside walks, and great picnic spots. The town centre is full of interesting small shops, great tearooms, and restaurants. Wetherby is close to Leeds, York, and Harrogate as well as the Yorkshire Dales therefore rewarding days out can be easily arranged. About you: You would have excellent communication skills, attention to detail and an all-round caring approach. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our friendly team who enjoys client care and administration as well as hands on cat care.
