Repair Operative

Pertemps is currently recruiting Repair Operative to work at one of Royal Mail's busy mail processing centres. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established organisation in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with flexible shifts and competitive pay. Your Role • Pick, pack, weigh, and label products based on daily orders. • Ensure all packages are properly packaged and sealed. • Meet the specifics of customer orders in a timely manner. • Log relevant shipping, order, and label paperwork. • Selects and package products for shipment based on customer orders. • Uses technology, including smartphones and handheld devices, to sort, scan, and prepare orders. • Handles, installs, positions, and moves materials to optimize inventory and meet customer orders. • Compares invoices to items received to ensure that incoming shipments are correct. Keeps products separated, organized, and in good rotation. • Follows safety protocols and reports problems to mitigate safety issues. Requirements • Good level of physical fitness – this is a hands-on, active role. • Attention to detail and strong work ethic. • Flexibility to work weekends and additional shifts. • Must pass a criminal background check (DBS) before start.
