Residential Conveyancer Location: Chesterfield Job Type: Full-time, Permanent SJC Partners are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded law firm who are looking for an experienced Senior Residential Conveyancer to join their growing Residential Property team in Chesterfield. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced conveyancer who is ready to take the next step in their career within a supportive and collaborative environment. The Role: You'll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of residential property matters while playing a key role in supporting and mentoring junior team members. There is also the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of the department, working closely with senior colleagues. Key responsibilities include: • Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion. • Handling sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and other residential property transactions. • Delivering an exceptional level of client care throughout the transaction. • Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team. • Assisting with the continued development and growth of the Residential Property department. • Working efficiently using a case management system to ensure matters progress smoothly. About You We're keen to speak with candidates who have: • At least 3 years' experience handling residential conveyancing matters. • The ability to manage a busy caseload independently with minimal supervision. • Excellent communication and organisational skills. • A proactive and client-focused approach. • Experience supporting or mentoring junior colleagues would be advantageous. Qualified Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers and Chartered Legal Executives are all encouraged to apply.
