Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner Location: Preston Salary: Up to £50,000 (dependent on experience) About Us A well-established legal 500 firm with a growing Residential Conveyancing department is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner to join its team. Due to increasing demand and a consistent flow of new instructions, including referral-based work and general residential property matters, the firm is expanding its conveyancing department. The Opportunity This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and expanding Residential Conveyancing team. You will work alongside two qualified Fee Earners and a wider support team of Paralegals, managing your own caseload while providing supervision and support across the department. The role offers the opportunity to take over an existing caseload and play a key role in helping the team meet growing client demand. Key Responsibilities • Manage a residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion • Progress existing and live files efficiently and proactively • Supervise conveyancing files and provide oversight where required • Support two qualified Fee Earners with day-to-day case management and file progression • Handle a varied caseload including referral-based instructions and general residential property transactions • Work closely with paralegals and support staff to ensure excellent client service • Contribute to the continued growth and success of the department What we are looking for • Strong Residential Conveyancing experience, ideally with 5+ years in a fee-earning capacity • Qualification as a Solicitor preferred (approximately 5 years PQE), although experienced non-qualified Conveyancers will also be considered • The ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision • Experience supervising files and supporting colleagues within a conveyancing team • A collaborative and team-focused approach • Confidence handling a varied mix of residential property matters What's on Offer? • Competitive salary of up to £50,000 (dependent on experience) • A supportive team environment with paralegal assistance • The opportunity to work at a Legal 500 firm • The opportunity to join a growing department with strong workflow and future progression prospects • The stability of an established firm with an excellent reputation in residential property law.
