Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centred primary care as part of our friendly and supportive clinical team. Key responsibilities include: • Providing face-to-face, telephone and online consultations for patients with acute and chronic medical conditions. • Participating in the practice duty doctor rota and undertaking home visits when required. • Diagnosing, treating and managing patients in accordance with the GMS contract, GMC standards and current NHS guidance. • Prescribing safely, requesting and interpreting appropriate investigations, and making timely referrals to secondary care and community services where appropriate. • Maintaining accurate clinical records using EMIS Web. • Working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. • Participating in clinical governance, safeguarding, audit, practice meetings and continuing professional development. • Supporting the delivery and ongoing development of Women's Health services within the practice.
