The Opportunity:
Nigel Wright Group is exclusively partnering with a fast-paced, entrepreneurial business operating at the front end of a high-volume, inbound sales environment. With a strong digital lead engine and a consistent flow of opportunities, the team is focused on converting motivated customers into commercially viable deals quickly and efficiently. This is a high-performance, target-driven environment where success is built on speed, quality of conversation and the ability to consistently convert opportunities.
They are now looking to appoint a Sales Manager - a true player-manager role, ideal for someone who wants to lead from the front, drive their own performance and raise the standards of those around them.
Role Profile:
• Monitor and manage team pipeline, ensuring strong follow-up discipline and rapid response to inbound leads
• Manage and convert a personal pipeline of high-volume inbound opportunities, negotiating directly with customers to secure commercially viable deals
• Deliver against individual targets including conversion rate, deals agreed and revenue contribution
• Provide live, on-the-floor coaching to improve team call quality, conversion and overall performance
• Support deal structuring and pricing, ensuring all opportunities align with commercial and valuation frameworks
• Act as a role model for performance and behaviour, handling complex negotiations and setting the benchmark for the team
Person Specification:
• Proven experience in a target-driven, high-volume sales environment, ideally working with inbound or marketing-generated leads
• Experience of leading, coaching or mentoring others, even if not in a formal management position
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to negotiate, challenge and close deals effectively
• Confident communicator, able to build trust quickly and handle both commercial and sensitive conversations
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deals and competing priorities simultaneously
• Driven, resilient and competitive, with a strong desire to perform personally while improving the performance of others

• Working hours: 9:00am - 6:00pm (Mon–Thurs), 9:00am - 5:00pm (Fri)
