Job description

School Administrator We are seeking an organised, professional, and proactive School Administrator to join our dedicated team at a specialist educational setting in Crawley. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced School Administrator who is passionate about supporting staff, pupils, and families through the effective administration of a busy school environment. As a School Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the school office. The successful School Administrator will be responsible for a range of administrative duties, providing excellent customer service, maintaining accurate records, and supporting school leaders with administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities: • Managing reception duties and acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and external agencies. • Handling telephone and email enquiries in a professional manner. • Maintaining pupil records and school databases. • Supporting attendance monitoring and reporting. • Preparing letters, reports, and other documentation. • Managing filing systems and ensuring data accuracy. • Assisting with general office administration and school events. • Supporting the wider administrative team as required. Essential Requirements: • Previous experience working in an administrative role. • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. • Excellent organisational and time-management skills. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Desirable Requirements: • Experience using BROMCOM (preferred but not essential). • Previous experience working within an educational environment.
