Part-Time Catering Manager - School | WirralLocation: Wirral Hours: Wednesday to Friday, 8:00am - 2:00pm (18 hours per week) Pay: £18.00 - £19.00 per hour Contract: Temporary with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate We are currently recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Catering Manager to join a friendly school on the Wirral. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for delivering high-quality school meals while leading a small catering team in a positive and supportive environment. There may also be potential for further hours where required. The Role • Manage the day-to-day running of the school kitchen • Prepare and serve nutritious, high-quality meals • Lead, motivate and support the catering team • Ensure food hygiene, health & safety, and allergen standards are maintained • Manage stock control, ordering and kitchen budgets • Maintain a clean, organised and compliant kitchen About You • Previous experience managing a catering operation, ideally within a school, education or contract catering environment • Food Hygiene Level 3 (or willingness to obtain) • Strong organisational and leadership skills • A positive, hands-on approach with excellent communication skills • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable (or willingness to obtain one) APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR SPENCER CLARKE GROUP All applications are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) in line with our stringent safeguarding policy. • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained. • You must have legal right to work in the UK. • You must be willing to attend a registration interview.
