School Food Technician - Full-Time (5 Days per Week) Location: Southwark Are you an experienced Food Technician looking to join a welcoming and supportive school community? We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable School Food Technician to support our thriving Food Technology department on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a lovely school environment where staff are valued, supported, and encouraged to develop professionally. What we're looking for: • Previous experience working as a Food Technician in a school or similar setting. • Strong knowledge of food preparation, food hygiene, health and safety, and equipment maintenance. • A relevant degree or qualification is preferred. • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare ingredients, equipment, and materials for Food Technology lessons. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised food preparation environment. • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations. • Monitor and manage stock levels, ordering supplies as required. • Clean, maintain, and organise kitchen equipment and resources. • Support teachers and students during practical lessons when needed.
