Senior Administrative Officer/ Office Manager - Temporary assignment • Location: London • Salary: £21 - £22per hour • Contract Type: Full-time, 36 hours per week (term time only) for approx 2 terms • Accountable to: Head Teacher Join our dedicated team in a pivotal role that supports the heart of our educational environment. As the Senior Administrative Officer and PA to the Head Teacher, you will be instrumental in managing and enhancing the administrative functions of our school, ensuring efficiency and promoting a positive image of our institution. Attention: This role is designed for those who excel in both secretarial and administrative capacities, offering direct support to the Head Teacher and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). You will oversee the administration of the school, ensuring all operations are conducted smoothly and effectively. Interest: As the first point of contact for the Head Teacher, you will handle communications, manage confidential documents, and coordinate various administrative tasks. Your role will also involve supervising other administrative staff, ensuring that everyone is aligned with the school’s goals and maintaining high standards of work. Desire: Your responsibilities will include: - Managing the general administration of the school and maintaining all necessary records. - Providing secretarial support to the SLT, including document preparation and meeting coordination. - Using technology effectively for administration, including word processing and maintaining electronic records. - Representing the school positively in communications with various stakeholders including parents, local authorities, and external agencies. - Ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines in all administrative aspects. - Leading the review of school policies and procedures to ensure they are current and effective.
