Science Teacher
• Annual Salary: £34,398 - £52,490

Day-to-day of the role:
• Teach Science to students at KS3 and KS4 levels, with opportunities to teach at KS5 for suitable candidates.
• Engage and motivate students through high-quality instruction and innovative lesson plans.
• Assess, monitor, and report on the progress of students.
• Maintain discipline in accordance with the school's procedures and encourage good practice with regard to punctuality, behaviour, standards of work, and homework.
• Update all necessary records accurately as required and attend department meetings.
• Participate in and organise extracurricular activities such as clubs, social events, and outings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience in teaching Science at secondary school level; ability to teach at A-level is desirable.
• Strong understanding of the UK secondary education system and curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Commitment to professional development and a proactive approach to learning new teaching methods.
