Secondary Supply Teacher - Doncaster - September 2026Secondary Supply Teacher Location: Variety of secondary schools across the Doncaster area Start Date: September 2026 Contract Type: Temporary Employer: Academics (Education Recruitment Agency) Are you a passionate Secondary Supply Teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities from September 2026? Academics is working with a range of welcoming secondary schools across the Doncaster area and is looking to recruit enthusiastic and reliable teachers to support schools on a temporary supply basis. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we would love to hear from you. As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will: • Deliver engaging lessons across your specialist subject and, where required, general cover. • Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour. • Adapt quickly to different school environments. • Follow school policies and procedures. • Provide a positive learning experience for students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 where applicable). What We Offer • Competitive daily pay of £140 to £225 per day (inclusive of holiday pay), dependent upon experience, qualifications, subject specialism, and the client. • Flexible working to suit your availability. • Opportunities to work in a variety of secondary schools across Doncaster. • Ongoing support from a dedicated Academics consultant. • Opportunities for long-term and potential permanent roles. To be considered for this Secondary Supply Teacher role, you will have: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. • Previous experience teaching within UK secondary schools. • A current Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new Enhanced DBS check. • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills. • Excellent communication and organisational skills. • The right to work in the UK.
