Subjects RequiredWe are recruiting teachers across all secondary subject areas, including but not limited to: • English • Mathematics • Science • Humanities (History, Geography, Religious Education) • Modern Foreign Languages • Design & Technology • Computing • Physical Education • Art & Design • Music • Business Studies • Health & Social Care • Other specialist subjects ResponsibilitiesAs a Secondary Teacher working with Tradewind Recruitment, you will: • Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire and motivate students. • Plan and prepare lessons where required for longer-term assignments. • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of different learners. • Create a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment. • Assess and monitor student progress where appropriate. • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies. • Work collaboratively with school staff and leadership teams. • Maintain accurate records and provide feedback when required. RequirementsTo be considered, you should have: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. • Experience teaching within UK secondary schools (placements considered for ECTs). • Strong classroom management skills. • Excellent communication and organisational abilities. • Flexibility, reliability and a positive attitude. • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one through Tradewind Recruitment). • The right to work in the UK.
