SEN Tutor (Primary) needed in BromleyABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYProspero Teaching is seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to provide 1:1 support for Primary-aged pupils across Bromley. This role involves delivering tailored sessions in English, Maths, and general SEN support to help pupils develop confidence, engagement, and academic progress. As an SEN Tutor, you will support children with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, and moderate learning difficulties. You will plan and deliver personalised lessons that meet each pupil's individual learning needs while creating a positive and encouraging learning environment. This opportunity is ideal for a teacher or tutor looking to provide meaningful, one-to-one support outside of a traditional classroom setting. CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS • Location: Bromley (BR postcode area) • Position: SEN Tutor • Type of Work: 1:1 Tuition and SEN Support • Subjects: English and Maths • Key Stage: Primary • Start Date: ASAP • Duration: Ongoing • Contract Type: Temporary • Full-Time / Part-Time: Part-Time • Minimum Rate of Pay: £25 per hour • Hours: Flexible, based on pupil requirements EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS • QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS qualification, or equivalent • Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs • Experience teaching or tutoring Primary-aged pupils • Good knowledge of the Primary curriculum, particularly English and Maths • Minimum 6 months' experience working within a UK educational setting • Up-to-date Safeguarding Training (desirable but not essential) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: • Hold the Right to Work in the UK • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application • Provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years OTHERIf you would like to be considered for this SEN Tutor role in Bromley, please apply with an up-to-date CV.
