We are looking for adaptable and committed teachers who can deliver engaging lessons while meeting the individual needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Key Responsibilities • Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs. • Support pupils with a range of needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning needs. • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment. • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where necessary. • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, parents, and external agencies. • Implement EHCP targets and personalised learning plans effectively. The Ideal Candidate • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. • Experience working with SEND pupils in mainstream or specialist settings is desirable. • Strong behaviour management and classroom leadership skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. • A patient, resilient, and flexible approach to teaching. • A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs. Requirements • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one. • Right to work in the UK. • Two professional references covering the last two years.
