Prospero Teaching are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to work in local Primary Schools in and around the Colchester area to start September 2026. Experience with SEN/SEMH is essential. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS • Location - Colchester * Position - Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant * Contract or position start date - September 2026 * Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing * Contract type - Long-Term Temporary * Full time/part time - Part time to Full time * Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate around £95-110 per day * Hours -8.30 am - 3pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS • Experience with SEN/SEMH is essential • Previous TA/LSA experience is highly desirable • GCSE English and Maths grade 'C' TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: • Hold Right to Work in the UK * Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application * Provide two professional child related references OTHER If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up-to-date CV.
