SEN Teaching Assistant

Role: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Lewisham Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 3.45pm Pay: £105 - £120 per day We are partnering with a warm, welcoming, and inclusive primary school in Lewisham that is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a Year 1 pupil with ASD. This is a full-time opportunity starting as soon as possible, with the potential to continue into the next academic year. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in Early Years education and supporting children with SEN, who can make a positive impact on the pupil's learning and development. Key Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant: • Support pupils with their learning in class, in small groups, and on a one-to-one basis. • Work closely with pupils with SEN, helping them access learning and follow support plans. • Assist the teacher with classroom activities and behaviour management. • Observe pupils' progress and provide feedback to the teacher when needed What we're looking for: • Teaching Assistant experience & SEN experience. • A warm, patient, and engaging approach. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's wellbeing.
