Job Title: QTS SEN Tutor Core Subjects (Oldham) September Start Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester Pay Rate: GBP30 per hour (starting rate) Start Date: September 2026 Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | 20 hours per week We are seeking a QTS SEN Tutor to join our team in Oldham for a September start. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learners working below expected levels. If you are passionate about inclusive education and helping students reach their potential, we would love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities: Deliver personalised one-to-one GCSE Maths and English tuition for SEN learners. Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual emotional, social, and academic needs. Support students in developing core subject knowledge, study skills, and exam confidence. Create a safe, consistent, and supportive learning environment that promotes engagement and progress. Track student progress and provide regular feedback to parents, carers, or relevant professionals. Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring Maths or English. Experience working with SEN students in a one-to-one or small group setting. Right to work in the UK. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one). Desirable Qualifications: PGCE in Secondary Education. Experience supporting students with Autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
