SEND Teacher (Primary) - September StartLocation: Lewisham Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent, long term, short term Start Date: September 2026 Are you looking for SEND Class Teacher role in September? We are seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate, and skilled SEND Teacher to join our teaching agency. We are working with schools in the South East and East London. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with a range of special educational needs and disabilities, helping them to achieve their full potential in a supportive and nurturing environment. Our schools caters for pupils with diverse learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), and moderate to severe learning difficulties. The RoleAs a SEND Teacher, you will: • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual pupil needs. • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. • Develop and implement Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) targets. • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, families, and external agencies. • Monitor, assess, and celebrate pupil progress and achievements. • Support pupils' social, emotional, communication, and independence skills. • Foster a culture of high expectations, respect, and inclusion. We Are Looking For Someone Who: • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. • Has experience working with children with SEND, preferably within a specialist setting. • Demonstrates a strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies and behaviour support approaches. • Is patient, resilient, and committed to achieving the best outcomes for every child. • Has excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children with additional needs.
