Sports Coach – SEND Provision (SEMH Focus) Location: East London Start Date: ASAP or September 2026 Contract: Full-time, Long-term Pay: £110 – £130 per day (dependent on experience) Are you a passionate Sports Coach looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? We are currently recruiting for a full-time Sports Coach to work within a specialist SEND provision supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to use sport as a tool to engage, motivate, and support students who may have faced challenges in mainstream education. The Role • Deliver structured and engaging sports sessions and physical activities • Support pupils with SEMH needs, promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation • Work closely with teaching staff to support learning both inside and outside the classroom • Build strong, positive relationships with pupils to encourage participation and engagement • Assist with behaviour management using a calm and consistent approach Requirements • Experience working with children or young people in a sports coaching or educational setting • Strong behaviour management skills and ability to engage students with SEMH needs • Team player with a proactive and resilient attitude • Passion for supporting young people and making a positive impact What We Offer • Competitive daily rate of £110 – £130 • Opportunity to work in a supportive SEND environment • Long-term, full-time role with potential to become permanent • Immediate or September start available If you are enthusiastic about using sport to inspire and support young people with additional needs, we would love to hear from you.
