Job description

We're a family-run HVAC business looking for a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our growing team. We offer a friendly, supportive working environment where your technical skills are valued and your development is genuinely invested in. You'll primarily focus on residential and light commercial installations, with the opportunity — based on your experience and interest — to work on larger commercial HVAC projects through our sister branch, which operates predominantly in Kent. What you'll be doing • Installing, servicing, and repairing air conditioning systems to manufacturer specifications and safety standards • Carrying out routine maintenance to keep systems running efficiently and reliably • Diagnosing and troubleshooting faults using schematics, technical drawings, and manuals • Keeping accurate records of work carried out, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades • Ensuring all work meets health & safety regulations and industry standards • Leading Split installations, with scope to contribute to larger commercial HVAC projects What we're looking for • Proven experience installing and maintaining air conditioning systems, especially Single-Split and Multi-Split • Solid mechanical knowledge of HVAC equipment • Comfortable reading schematics, technical drawings, and diagnostic tools • Working knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to HVAC work • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and strong customer service skills • Experience in construction or industrial repair environments is a plus, but not essential Required licences/certifications • Full UK driving licence • F-Gas certification What we offer • Company van and fuel covered • 20 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays • 3% employer pension contribution • Fully funded certifications and manufacturer-led training courses, with real opportunities to progress and upskill • A friendly, family-business culture — not just a number on a spreadsheet Location: Surrey
