Senior Bookkeeper | Business Services Manager - Accountancy Practice Central London £40,000 - £50,000+ DOE Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a leading specialist accountancy firm in the recruitment of a Senior Bookkeeper or Business Services Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a globally recognised firm specialising in the entertainment, media, sport and creative industries. Working with an impressive portfolio of high-profile clients, you will manage your own client portfolio while delivering high-quality bookkeeping, VAT and business management services within a collaborative and supportive team. Key Responsibilities • Manage a portfolio of clients across the entertainment, media, sport and creative sectors • Prepare bookkeeping records and process VAT returns for a varied client base • Liaise directly with clients, agents, managers and other professional advisers • Reconcile agency statements and assist with withholding tax (WHT) matters • Process payrolls where applicable (experience beneficial) • Ensure clients receive a proactive, confidential and high-quality service • Support and review junior team members as the role develops Key Requirements • Minimum 5 years experience within an accountancy practice in a bookkeeping or business services role • Strong bookkeeping and VAT experience • Experience using Xero (Sage experience also beneficial) • Knowledge of UK VAT and PAYE, with WHT experience advantageous • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to work directly with high-profile clients • Organised, discreet and able to manage multiple client assignments simultaneously • Previous experience working with entertainment, media or sports clients would be advantageous What's on Offer • Competitive salary from £40,000 • 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays) • Ongoing technical and professional development • Opportunity to progress into a managerial role with staff supervision responsibilities • Friendly, collaborative culture with regular team socials • Part-time (4-day week) considered Interested?
