Job description

MERJE are working with a well known asset management client in their search for a senior Compliance specialist on a 12 month FTC basis. This is a broad, generalist role within a high-performing, fast-paced compliance team, offering exposure across advisory, monitoring, and regulatory change. You’ll play a key role in supporting the business across a wide range of compliance activities while contributing to ongoing projects and regulatory initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Provide day-to-day compliance advisory support to the business • Carry out compliance monitoring and assist with the development and oversight of the compliance monitoring programme. • Assist with regulatory developments tracking, summarising and implementation where required • Assist with policy drafting and maintenance where required • Produce training materials and train employees where required • Participate in internal/external audits and client due diligence meetings as required Candidate Profile • 6-10 years of generalist compliance experience within an asset or investment management firm • Knowledge around MiFID II, COLL, CASS, AML, SMCR, MAR • Understanding of UCITS funds • Experience with Bloomberg AIM and/or StarCompliance (desirable) • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships across stakeholders Looking for someone with excellent technical capability, highly motivated and with a broad based skillset across regulatory compliance within an Asset Management environment.
