Senior Front Office Engineer- Leading Global Energy Commodities Trading

This is an energy trading and infrastructure asset investment firm, powered by deep fundamental research and advanced analytics. Now looking for experienced engineers in any programming language to join the Data Science & Technology team in London. This team is pivotal in giving the firm a competitive edge, and this role offers the opportunity to build solutions that have a direct commercial impact from day one. Solving complex, high-impact challenges using a modern technology stack, everything is developed in cloud-native infrastructure from real-time analytics to backtesting engines, to third party integrations and internal libraries. A few examples of what you'll do: • Partner directly with traders & analysts to engineer and optimize trading processes and strategies. • Build and maintain scalable, high-performance Python services and APIs • Design and implement cloud-native tools that integrate seamlessly into the Front Office platform • Design and build a robust, reusable framework to support back-testing activities If you like to work within a fast-paced, data-driven trading environment, making a direct impact on systematic trading and risk management efforts, this position would be perfect for you.
