****PLEASE READ IN BOLD BEFORE APPLYING**** On site in L1 Liverpool & Merseyside - Must drive/ own a car - PART TIME - £30-40,000 pro rata 3 days a week. Server, Infrastructure, Networking, Cyber Security, M365, Helpdesk, Apple Devices, google. An IT firm are looking for a PART TIME (3 days a week) IT Engineer (Support) to work across the Educational sector (Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, Academies, Universities or Colleges) in Liverpool and Merseyside. Skills & Tech: • Minimum 4 years hands-on experience in a senior IT support or systems engineer role within education. • Ability to diagnose and resolve server failures independently — OS, hardware, RAID, and virtualisation • Strong Active Directory and Group Policy experience — real-world deployment and troubleshooting, not just basic administration • Hands-on cyber security experience — incident response, endpoint protection, web filtering, and Cyber Essentials • Confident with Microsoft 365 administration across the full suite • Solid networking knowledge — VLANs, managed switches, wireless, firewalls, and routing • Experience with MDM platforms — Mosyle, Jamf, Intune, or equivalent • Able to work completely independently — you do not need supervision to resolve complex technical problems • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle — client sites are spread across Liverpool and Merseyside • Strong communication skills — you can explain a complex technical issue to a headteacher clearly and calmly Server, Infrastructure, Networking, Cyber Security, M365, Helpdesk, Apple Devices, Google
