Senior Marketing Exec – B2B Events Circa £35,000 + Bonuses London/Hybrid (3 days office) The senior marketing executive role is a newly created role working on a global series of Marketing Campaigns across a number of Business Events including Tech & Sciences. Targets • To devise and implement several marketing campaigns per annum keeping to deadlines set • To increase revenue on specified events • To produce effective marketing plans within budget • To achieve quality targets such as Page View targets and ideal marketing mix including drip and burst activity • To achieve management’s sales targets and report to sector heads on a regular basis • To meet all deadlines in the marketing schedules and marketing plans Duties and ResponsibilitiesFor each campaign the following procedures must be adhered to: • Attend team / sector meetings • Research outside marketing brief including competitive events to find best channels to market • To look at new marketing channels including social media • Write copy for pre mail, main mail, re-mail stages of campaigns. • Source new and relevant data for all events • Contact all potential marketing partners to set up contra deals – trade associations, newsletters, magazines, websites, associations etc. • Build relationships with long term media partners and enhance existing agreements • To work with sponsors and speakers to promote conferences wherever possible • Maintain contact with suppliers and monitor work in progress(printers, mail house, couriers) • Manage print runs through to delivery • Write and send press releases for each campaign to ensure maximum PR coverage. • Send e-mail campaigns through in-house email system and externally when necessary ** 2 years of Event Marketing experience required
