Senior PR Account Executive c£30k Depending on Experience + Benefits Southampton VR/10572 My client is an established PR agency based at Southampton. They work with an exciting mix of clients and are looking to add to their busy team with a new Senior Account Executive, or an Account Executive ready to take the next step, with 3–4 years of PR experience. Your main aim will be helping my client to continue on an upward trajectory: managing day to day client relationships; supporting the senior team on the planning and delivery of strategic campaigns and securing high profile media coverage My client is happy to hear of candidates with a background gained in agency, in house or journalism and will reward you with a vibrant, inclusive team environment Your role will involve: • Working closely with clients, crafting press releases, case studies, articles and social content, as well as developing compelling story angles to pitch to the media • Building and nurturing strong relationships with key journalists • Keeping up to date with the latest PR tools and trends • Bringing genuine knowledge and curiosity to each client’s sector • Supporting the development and delivery of PR strategies, contributing to regular client reporting, and acting as the key point of contact on smaller accounts • Working with a wide range of stakeholders, including at senior level You will be the ideal candidate due to your: • Confident communication skills – in writing and in conversation – with the ability to take complex or technical information and distil it into clear, compelling media messages • Strong organisational skills, creativity, quick-thinking, and ability to work to deadlines • Ability to build trust easily with clients, colleagues and journalists This is an exciting new role where you can really get involved and make a difference.
