It focuses on providing innovative solutions to ensure efficient logistics and supply chain management. Description • Manage and deliver logistics projects within set timeframes and budgets. • Coordinate project teams and stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes. • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management. • Develop and implement strategies to optimise transport & distribution operations. • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success. • Prepare detailed project documentation and reports. • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies. • Support the handover of completed projects to operational teams. Profile A successful Senior Project Manager (6-month FTC) should have: • Proven experience in project management within the logistics or transport & distribution sectors. • Strong organisational and leadership skills to manage teams effectively. • Project management accreditations (PMQ. Prince2 or similar) - preferred • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and reporting. • A solid understanding of logistics processes and industry standards. • Problem-solving skills to address challenges proactively.
