Senior Qualys Engineer - ContractUK-based | Hybrid/Flexible Working 6-12 Month Contract (Likely Extension) Inside IR35 £550 We're looking for an experienced Senior Qualys Engineer to support the expansion and optimisation of an enterprise-wide vulnerability management platform within a large, complex organisation. Key Responsibilities • Expand and optimise the existing Qualys platform (VMDR, CSAM, WAS, etc.) • Onboard new environments and improve vulnerability management processes • Enhance asset discovery and scanning coverage across on-prem and cloud environments • Integrate Qualys with enterprise tools such as ITSM and CMDB platforms • Automate workflows using APIs and scripting • Produce reporting and dashboards for technical and business stakeholders • Support remediation programmes and provide best practice guidance Skills & Experience • Strong hands-on experience with Qualys VMDR • Deep understanding of vulnerability management and asset discovery • Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, routing, VPNs) • Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments • Exposure to AWS, Azure or GCP is desirable • Scripting and automation experience (Python, PowerShell, APIs) • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Desirable • Experience in telecommunications or other highly regulated environments • Knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST • Relevant certifications including Qualys Certified Specialist, CISSP or CISM This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in scaling and enhancing a major enterprise security capability within a complex environment. ...
