Senior Supply Planner - Procurement & Operations
Reigate, Surrey |£30,000 - £50,000 DOE | Mon-Thu office, Fri from home
We're recruiting for a commercially minded operations and supply chain professional to join a fast-paced team in Reigate, reporting directly to the Head of Procurement.
You'll sit at the heart of the supply chain - planning stock, sourcing products from suppliers worldwide, and keeping goods moving efficiently from order to delivery. Whether your background is in supply planning, operations or buying, if you're organised, commercially sharp and good with people, this role offers real scope to make an impact.
What you'll be doing
• Supply and demand planning - working with the Demand Planner and Operations Director to hit stock and delivery targets
• Product sourcing - identifying, evaluating and sourcing products that meet customer specifications on price, quality and lead time
• Supplier negotiations - securing favourable terms on price, payment and delivery schedules
• Ensuring compliance with the company's ethical sourcing and sustainability standards
• Working with the logistics team on on-time delivery, importing, customs and quality control
• Overseeing customer tenders and equipping Sales & Marketing with pricing, data and product insights
• Managing order processing admin, keeping accurate documentation and audit trails
• Researching and engaging new suppliers to drive continuous improvement in cost, quality and delivery
• Building a deeper understanding of customers' brands and requirements
What we're looking for
• 3+ years in a supply planning, operations or buying role (food industry experience preferred), with a track record across sourcing, supplier management and stock/order planning
• A can-do attitude and a positive approach to problem solving
• Tenacious, with strong determination to succeed
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills
• Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of international shipping, duties and delivery processes beneficial
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Strong IT skills, confident with spreadsheets
• French or Spanish beneficial but not required
