Senior Support Worker – Children's Residential Care
Location: Northampton Area
Salary: Up to £37,360 per year (including sleep-ins) + performance bonuses
Shift Pattern: 1 day on, 2 days off (sleep-ins required)
We're looking for an experienced Senior Support Worker to join our family-run children's homes in Northampton. You'll lead shifts, support a small team, and help provide therapeutic care for children and young people with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead shifts and support Residential Support Workers
• Build positive relationships with young people
• Support daily routines, activities, and appointments
• Safeguard children and maintain accurate records
• Support care planning and manage challenging behaviour using therapeutic approaches
Requirements
• Level 3 or 4 Residential Childcare qualification (or working towards)
• Minimum 2 years' experience in children's residential care
• Experience supporting children with ASC, mental health, or emotional and behavioural needs
• Full UK driving licence
