We're looking for a Senior Tax Manager to lead and build Private Client team, a role with real autonomy, direct access to partners, and a genuine say in how the department grows. What you'll be doing: • Leading the Personal and Trust Tax compliance service, including review and sign-off of returns • Delivering advisory work across Trusts, Inheritance Tax, CGT, offshore trusts and international tax matters • Overseeing 60-day CGT Returns, Trust Registration Service, Trust IHT Returns and CRS reporting • Acting as a trusted point of contact for HMRC, clients and professional advisers • Managing complex client relationships and associated risk • Leading, coaching and developing your team: recruitment, appraisals, training, the lot • Owning workflow, WIP, billing and recoveries for your area • Getting involved in business development, networking and technical marketing, as much or as little as suits your ambitions What we're looking for: • CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent experience) • Significant Private Client Tax and Trust experience • Strong technical grounding in Personal Tax, Trusts, IHT and CGT • Proven experience leading or managing a team • Commercially minded, with strong client relationship skills Nice to have (not essential): • International or offshore trust experience • Business development track record • Experience leading advisory projects If you want to build a career, not just fill a seat until the next sale, get in touch.
