Service Advisor

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Service Advisor at a reputable independent garage in Haslemere, Surrey. Benefits of this Service Advisor role include: • Up to £35,000 per annum dependent on experience • OTE up to £38,000 with bonuses • Working Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM • Saturday rota on a 1 in 2 basis (negotiable) • Supportive team focused on development • Pension scheme and staff discounts • Convenient location with easy access from surrounding Surrey areas Duties required of the Service Advisor include: • Greeting customers and establishing their vehicle service needs • Coordinating with technicians and interpreting customer concerns • Providing accurate and transparent cost estimates for repairs and servicing • Managing work orders and service bookings via garage management systems • Keeping customers informed on vehicle progress and additional work • Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues professionally • Upselling relevant services and products • Ensuring workshop workflow remains efficient while maintaining quality standards Requirements for the Service Advisor role include: • Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer-facing automotive position • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively • Technical understanding of automotive repairs (preferred but not essential) • Experience with garage management systems (desirable) • Professional, approachable manner with a customer-first attitude • Valid UK driving licence (desirable) This Service Advisor position offers a rewarding environment where your skills will be valued and developed.
