Service Charge Manager

Service Charge Manager - Milton Keynes (Hybrid) - £45,000 - £55,000 DOE My client, the fastest-growing top 20 accountancy firm in the UK are looking for an experienced Service Charge Manager to join their team in Milton Keynes. This is a high impact role where you'll manage a portfolio of key clients, delivering exceptional service while driving growth opportunities. To oversee and review service charge accounts alongside guiding your team to deliver at the highest standard and ensuring clients receive a consistently outstanding experience. You'll also drive portfolio workflow, practice management and support strategic client planning. Key Responsibilities: • Build strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service through regular online and in-person engagement • Identify growth opportunities within existing clients to expand the portfolio and support wider business development • Own portfolio performance, including billing targets, recoveries, debt management and forecasting • Coach and develop Senior and Executive Accountants through on-the-job support • Identify training needs and drive development plans, escalating where required • Build your personal brand to promote the team, with an active LinkedIn presence and content creation • Champion continuous improvement, driving efficiency and service enhancements across the team • Support adoption and development of their bespoke software across teams and clients • Stay up to date with sector developments and share knowledge across the team Person Specification: • AAT qualified/part qualified ACCA/ACA or qualified by experience • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Confident working independently and collaboratively • Highly organised with a methodical approach to workload management • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel • Service charge accounting knowledge (desirable) • Proactive, with a strong desire to learn and develop Other Details: Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 DOE Working Arrangements: Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm, 3 days in the office, 2 working from home Benefits: • Pension scheme • Group life assurance 4 x salary • Group income protection • 26 days annual leave excluding bank holidays (opportunity to purchase more days) • Birthday day off • Health cash plan • Quarterly functions and events • Access to our employee benefits portal - cashback and vouchers on everyday purchases • Employee Assistance Programme • Regular training and development - continuous development and support not only for your professional qualifications but also for your personal goals and aspirations If you're looking for your next role in a growing company, please contact Anisha at Dove & Hawk on or Dove & Hawk Property Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of permanent workers.
