Shipping Coordinator • Annual Salary: Up to £33k depending on experience plus generous benefits • Location: Close to Richmond, London • Job Type: Full-time - (with some WFH flexibility) We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Shipping Coordinator to join a wholesaler who supplies major companies on the UK high street and European markets. My client provides their employees with excellent progression opportunities. They are committed to delivering superlative customer service and are in search of an efficient, forward-thinking individual with a passion for administration and logistics. Day-to-day of the role: • Liaise with factories and freight forwarders in the Far East, as well as customers & logistics partners in the UK. • Manage shipment consolidation and create shipment documents. • Administer customer systems, ensuring smooth shipment bookings and deliveries. • Maintain the supply system, including orders, products, assemblies, shipments, and invoices. • Submit order/shipment invoices to customer accounts teams and monitor payment schedules. • Maintain meticulous records of customer, supplier, and purchasing files. • Communicate daily with forwarders, factories, and logistics teams, as well as internal teams. • Assist the finance team with processing supplier invoices and matching to purchase orders. • Perform general administrative tasks and assist in other areas as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise. • Meticulous attention to detail. • Team player with a positive and proactive attitude. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to effectively self-manage and work under pressure. • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PDFs. • Passionate about delivering superb customer service with a sense of humour.
