Location: Accrington Salary: £45,000 - £48,000pa + benefits Fantastic opportunity in the Accrington area for a CPC qualified Site Operations Manager to join a fast moving and dynamic operation. Key Responsibilities: * Ultimate responsibility for the day-to-day transport operation * Ensuring the provision of a first-class service in the most cost-effective manner * Efficient management of vehicle scheduling and the maximisation of vehicle utilisation * Recruitment, retention and training of the distribution team. Key Skills/Experience: * Track record in a similar role within a customer centric transport operation * Transport Manager CPC is essential * Proven experience of delivering against agreed budgets and KPI's * Ensuring site compliance with all relevant employment / transport legislation * Proven leadership abilities with the presence and charisma to lead a sizeable team * An understanding of CI techniques, KPI management, Employment Law and H&S legislation If you come from a quality-focused industry in which you have gained experience of managing a multi-drop operation.
