Site Supervisor (Civils - Highways)Location: Hyde Rd, Mottram in Longdendale, Hyde, SK14 6NG Rate: £22.98 per hour PAYE Duration: Initially 6 weeks (possible extension) A major National Highways civils and highways scheme in Mottram is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor (Civils - Highways) to support the safe and efficient delivery of works on the A57 Link Roads project. This role is ideal for someone with strong civil engineering, highways, or infrastructure experience who can oversee daily site activities and maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. The project includes large-scale highways civils works such as earthworks, drainage, structures, road construction and associated infrastructure between the M67 and Woolley Bridge. Key Duties: • Supervising daily site operations and workforce activities • Managing operatives and subcontractors • Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme • Leading site briefings, inductions, and toolbox talks • Monitoring quality, compliance, and construction documentation • Liaising with engineers, site management, and subcontractors • Promoting strong health & safety culture across the site Requirements: • CSCS Gold Supervisory Card • SSSTS (SMSTS advantageous) • Previous experience as a Site Supervisor, General Foreman, or Civils Supervisor • Experience on civil engineering, highways, or infrastructure projects • Strong understanding of construction health & safety procedures • Good communication and leadership skills If you are interested in this Site Supervisor (Civils - Highways) position based in Mottram, SK14 6NG, please apply and the team will be in touch.
