JOB PURPOSE To provide clinical leadership for a specialist ADHD service, ensuring safe, evidencebased assessment and treatment, highquality multidisciplinary practice, and continuous service improvement. Including clinical leadership for the ADHD pathway. To support a culture of learning and development across Taurus ADHD services, providing training and development to the ADHD clinical team. To work with our Lead Consultant Psychiatrist to provide and support medical leadership to the operational and quality teams to deliver consistently all aspects of contractual requirements. To provide GP care in Taurus Healthcare ADHD services, including review and sign-off for shared care agreements. Main Responsibilities Undertake comprehensive ADHD assessments in line with NICE guidelines. Formulate and document diagnoses, differential diagnoses, and management plans. Complete highquality assessment reports within agreed turnaround times. Initiate and review ADHD treatment plans, including shared care recommendations. Work collaboratively with the MDT, including psychiatrists, nurses and admin teams. Participate in clinical supervision, peer review and service development. Maintain accurate, timely clinical records using agreed clinical systems. Adhere to safeguarding, information governance and clinical governance standards. Support service quality, consistency, and patient experience across the ADHD pathway. Promote a culture of service user empowerment and valuing in design of Provide medical management, including prescribing and monitoring ADHD medications in line with national guidance.
