The Role: Are you an experienced Support Worker who thrives in making a tangible difference? We are looking for resilient, high-intelligence Complex Support Workers to join our "Elite Squad" for the upcoming summer season and beyond. You will support individuals with complex needs, including Autism, Learning Disabilities (LD), Mental Health conditions, and challenging behaviours, within residential homes and supported living facilities. Your primary focus will be creating a safe, empowering environment that promotes independence and emotional well-being. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver person-centred care and behavioral support tailored to individual care plans. • Use positive behaviour support (PBS) and de-escalation techniques to manage challenging behaviours safely. • Assist with daily living skills, including meal preparation, domestic tasks, and budgeting. • Support service users out in the community, facilitating social inclusion and recreational activities. • Maintain accurate, transparent daily logs, incident reports, and communication notes. What We Are Looking For: • Experience: Minimum of 6–12 months of proven experience working with complex learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs in the UK. • Compliance: An active Enhanced DBS (ideally registered on the Update Service for immediate onboarding). • Training: Valid mandatory training certificates (Safeguarding, Medication Administration, and PMVA/MAPA/Positive Behaviour Support are highly desirable). • Characteristics: High emotional intelligence, resilience, patience, and a genuine passion for advocacy. • Logistics: Reliability, excellent communication skills, and the flexibility to cover varied shift patterns (Days, Waking Nights, or Weekends).
