The post holder will work collaboratively with others in the , Health in Pregnancy Service, Health Visiting and professionals from other services including Black Country Perinatal Mental Health Team , maternity services, GPs as well as with our experts by experience, to develop high quality pathways during pregnancy and beyond to ensure excellent outcomes for women and their families. The post holder will be expected to support with safeguarding aspects within this role and work collaboratively with the safeguarding lead midwife. We are looking for a clinician with a special interest in improving care for women and their families. Experience of working in the Perinatal Mental Health field is desirable; a keen interest in this specialist area is essential. All applicants must have excellent clinical skills and a good level of post registration experience, proven ability or be willing to be trained to complete comprehensive mental health assessments, thoroughly assess risk, and document and communicate these clearly and concisely.
