Please see attached job description for more detail Key Duties to include: Operate radiotherapy equipment safely and accurately interpreting and applying radiation prescription plans, using clinical judgement to justify deviation from protocol. Be clinically competent to safely and efficiently manipulate all complex and specialised equipment associated with the planning and treatment of patients undergoing radiotherapy treatment with ionising radiation. Run radiotherapy pre-hab clinics for patients referred for prostate radiotherapy, delivering a multi-disciplinary approach to patient-centred care by appropriate sign-posting to relevant staff, services or agencies where required. Assist the clinical oncologists by undertaking contouring of planning images during the planning process. Be a key member of the urology team acting as a resource within the trust to support the MDT regarding patients undergoing radiotherapy treatment as well as post treatment support.
