Job description

Speech and Language Therapist - Billingshurst 10 Hours per Week (Part Time) | Term Time Only We're looking for a passionate Speech and Language Therapist (HCPC Registered or eligible) to join our client’s specialist school, supporting children and young people with a range of complex communication needs. Working as part of a friendly multidisciplinary team, you'll play a key role in helping pupils develop the communication skills they need to thrive. What You'll Do • Deliver individual and group therapy programmes linked to EHCPs. • Assess speech, language and communication needs. • Develop and implement AAC strategies and resources. • Support safe eating and drinking practices. • Work closely with teachers, families and external professionals. • Prepare reports and contribute to reviews and multidisciplinary meetings. What We're Looking For • HCPC registered (or eligible) Speech and Language Therapist. • Strong assessment, planning and communication skills. • Experience supporting children with SEND, EHCPs or AAC is desirable. • A collaborative approach and commitment to safeguarding.
