Sponsorship Sales Manager - B2B Events Central London Office, Hybrid working + Travel Base Salary Up to £55,000 - Year 1 OTE min.£80K+ Benefits This is a rare opportunity to lead sales for a portfolio of events, from the ground up and make your mark on conferences with serious growth potential. Our international b2b events client has a substantial portfolio of conferences attracting thousands of senior executives from some of the most recognised organisations globally. This is a business built on quality, scale, performance and commercial excellence. They are now looking for a Sponsorship Sales Manager to join a high-performing team. This is not a maintenance role. It is a role for someone who wants to build, win and grow. These are events that are finding their feet in competitive markets, with real potential to become category leaders. The person stepping into this role will be central to making that happen. Have you successfully sold sponsorship on launch events or built revenue on portfolios that were not yet market leaders? Have you taken underperforming events and turned them into high-performing, commercially successful ones? Do you have ideas, energy and the ability to create and deliver a genuine growth strategy for your portfolio? If the answer is yes, this could be the right next move. You will own a portfolio of B2B conference sponsorship campaigns, with a strong focus on launches and growth-stage events. You will bring in new business, build robust pipelines and work closely with producers and internal stakeholders to maximise every commercial opportunity. What We Are Looking For A commercially focused, ambitious sponsorship sales professional who can demonstrate the following: Launch experience or proven growth on emerging events We are looking for experience in one or both of the following areas: • A strong track record on event launches, from first conversation to first revenue, with the ability to create pipeline where none exists, establish credibility in a new market, and close without the support of an established brand • Demonstrable experience of driving substantial revenue growth on events that are not yet market leaders but have the potential to be, where you have played a meaningful role in their trajectory • Genuine passion for owning an event portfolio, with a clear vision for how to scale it and the ability to create and deliver a growth strategy A genuine new business hunter • This role is weighted towards outbound activity and new business development • You will be comfortable in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and energised by the challenge of building from the ground up • You will bring grit, resilience and real enthusiasm for the process of winning Commercial and sector awareness • B2B sponsorship sales experience, gained within a commercial events business • Strong communication and stakeholder skills, with the confidence to engage at senior level • Proficiency in CRM and standard sales tools Key Responsibilities • Exceed agreed revenue targets across your event portfolio • Research, identify and close new sponsorship business • Maximise revenue from existing and lapsed sponsors • Build and maintain a healthy, qualified pipeline • Develop strong relationships with senior decision makers • Work closely with conference producers and internal teams to align commercial strategy • Stay current with market developments and sponsorship trends relevant to your portfolio • Deliver accurate reporting, forecasting and campaign management What Is On Offer • Base salary up to £55,000 (flexible) with an uncapped and highly competitive commission structure - Year 1 OTE of £80,000+ • High growth event portfolios with strong year-on-year development potential • A team with strong tenure and consistently low staff turnover • Hybrid working with genuine flexibility built in across the year • Enhanced annual leave, rising with tenure • Enhanced family leave and childcare support • Comprehensive health and wellbeing provision • Personal Pension Scheme and life assurance • Individual career development plans • Structured management development programmes • Company recognition and celebrations Please contact Helen Yarrow to find out more and this B2B Events Sponsorship Sales opportunity.
