The successful candidate will join a supportive and experienced PE department, working closely with the Head of Sport to deliver an engaging sporting programme across both curriculum and co-curricular activities. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS • Location - Blackheath, South East London • Position - Sports Graduate • Type of Work - Supporting PE lessons, coaching sports teams, supervising pupils during playtimes and leading extracurricular clubs • Contract Start Date - September 2026 • Duration / Likely Duration - 1 Academic Year • Contract End Date - July 2027 • Contract Type - Fixed-Term Contract (with potential extension) • Full Time/Part Time - Full Time • Salary - £20,000 - £23,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications) • Hours - 09:45am - 5:15pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only) EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS • Sports Science Degree, Sport-Related Degree, BTEC Sport or equivalent qualification • Coaching experience in a minimum of two sports • Passion for sport and physical education • Experience working with children is desirable • Strong communication and teamwork skills TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: • Have the Right to Work in the UK • Hold an enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one • Provide two professional references • Be at least 18 years old • Be willing to undergo all safeguarding and vetting checks required by the school
