Job description

Senior Change Manager Location: Hybrid Working - 2 days pw on-site in Birmingham, West Mids (travel non expensible) Rate: £500.00 - £600 Per Day - Outside IR35 (via limited/umbrella) Duration: Start September - 18th December 2026 Project - Ingestion of calculations scheme data from MS Excel into a Pensions platform so that the data can then be used for report and quicker calculations. TXP is looking for a commercially minded Principal Change Manager with strong stakeholder engagement, change leadership and delivery capability across the full change lifecycle. This is a senior consulting role to work onsite for our Birmingham based financial services client. The ideal candidate will be a confident, senior change professional who can work independently with clients, influence senior stakeholders and provide structured change leadership across complex transformation environments. They will be able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, helping organisations prepare for, adopt and sustain meaningful business change. Key Responsibilities • Change Strategy and Delivery. • Lead organisational change activity across complex transformation programmes. • Develop and deliver change strategies, change plans and adoption frameworks. • Define change vision, business outcomes, success measures and benefits realisation approaches. • Conduct organisational impact assessments across people, process, structure, culture and ways of working. • Identify resistance, barriers to adoption and people-related risks, putting mitigation plans in place. • Establish and track adoption measures, readiness indicators and change success metrics. • Support the design and implementation of future-state operating models, governance frameworks and new ways of working. • Apply recognised change management methodologies and frameworks to support successful delivery. • Stakeholder Engagement and Leadership. Essential Skills & Experience • Significant experience as a Senior Change Manager, Principal Change Consultant, Change. Lead, Organisational Change Manager, Transformation Lead or similar. • Pensions experience / or complex FinServ environments which has lots of financial data. • Proven experience leading organisational change across complex business, operational and technology transformation programmes. • Strong experience developing change strategies, change plans, stakeholder engagement plans, communications strategies and adoption programmes. • Experience conducting organisational impact assessments, readiness assessments and stakeholder analysis. • Strong understanding of the people side of change, including culture change, behavioural change, employee engagement and adoption management. • Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation, influencing and communication skills. • Experience working across Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid delivery environments. • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage audiences at all levels. • Change management certification such as Prosci, APMG Change Management, CCMP or equivalent. • Experience within Financial Services, Pensions, Insurance, Public Sector or other regulated environments. • Experience supporting technology-enabled, digital or AI-enabled transformation programmes. • Experience with operating model change, process redesign, organisational design or workforce transformation. • Knowledge of benefits realisation, change analytics and adoption measurement. • Experience contributing to bids, proposals, pre-sales activity or solution development.
