Staff Nurse

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide a high level of care and support for young people between the ages of 13 and 17. This will include shift co-ordination and leadership with the support of the senior nursing team. You will act as keyworker for a small number of young people and work with them to develop risk management plans, care plans and positive behaviour support (PBS) plans. These plans will direct the care and interventions provided for each young person and you will be involved in delivering this daily. You will be responsible for carrying out medication rounds and ensuring that NG feeding is facilitated as per care plans. You will be involved in supporting a team of experienced health care assistants to carry out their role and more experienced band 5 nurses will be involved in delivering supervision.
